At 8:00 AM on May 29, 2026, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Win Than, alongside the South Eastern Command's Chief of Staff and state administration officials, attended the graduation ceremony for the People's Military Service Training Course No. (2/2026). Held at the No. (9) Military Advanced Training Depot in Thaton, the event was also attended by local authorities, departmental officials, and families of the graduating trainees.
